Define "ages ago". They couldn't have known any earlier than two weeks ago. Maybe it was brought up then. Maybe it's only made it to the media now? Or maybe if they didn't beat Geelong they would have wanted to play GWS for confidence?

No I meant they knew it was a possibility from ages ago... Only complaining now that they find out it's them it will affect. They had the chance when it was stated GWS would play in the NAB cup to complain did they? no... tough luck.

probably a politics thing... i dont think any club should play them let alone Port

Have to agree Wes even tho being a Port supporter I reckon after the First round of the NAB that should have been it. I reckon as taking GC Suns as an example they have to because they are in this year, not next year.
This applies to all the other clubs as well. IMO. < Sometimes not worth a cracker tho
