Well after finally regaining my temper I think I'm ready for another week of GC fun and games. So let's go through the preview

Golden C v Mumbai Lions
They actually played a warm up on Thursday but Mumbai played none of their stars, Barlow should be favored still though, even if seam bowling is the one place he struggles at.
FF Win?: Probable

Tickle My Timber v Kerala Warriors
Seems a lot of FF members run into the Warriors and it's Shaggy's turn today. This one has blockbuster written all over it as two NAT assistants go at it. I would favor Shaggy just on his Seam bowlers but it will be a tight run thing
FF Win?: Just

UDAAN vs Hello
The fates have not shined on HP this week as he's going to have to channel his inner teams inner DazBurg to win and without a quality seamer that seems unlikely. Stranger things have happened in the GC so far but this one just seems a bridge too far
FF Win?: Not Here.

Front Foot Fury v Roo Boys!
Let us never speak of FFF again.
FF Win?: Likely

Pompei Cricket club v bombersXI
Another regular on the FF circuit in the GC. Can't see BB having too many problems here, he should be able to cruise to a comfortable win.
FF Win?: Pretty much a lock

Nimity United v Gunz n Rozez
A tough opponent for BOOMZ as he's tasked with taking down one of the Wizards mainstays. Somehow I don't see it happening, the cards are all going to have to fall his way to win and on a tough slow pitch. It's going to be difficult to get up here.
FF Win?: Unlikely.

RED THUNDER v The Matchbox Matadors
Ahhh another of the GC rotation. It's a tight match but CF is going to have to rely on a weak seam attack and that may end up costing him. Can't see the tercio de muerte being applied here.
FF Win?: Don't bet on it.

Hillly's Heroics v North Wiggy CC
A match where Hilly is favored, he's quietly gone about building his squad and should see fruition here. Much to the delight of some FF FTP players..
FF Win?: Yep.

DazBurg's Greatness v 11PUNJABI
You know if Daz keeps playing as favorite in the GC for too much longer the tag of "Fan Footy's Self Appointed Giant Killers" is going to look redundant. Little problem for Daz here, perfect pitch for his anonymous brand of medium pacers, heavily outrates the opposition. Should walk away without much stress.
FF Win?: Lock of the week.

Which leaves the two FF head to head games

The Brat Pack v Fletch's No Balls
Getting a new seam bowler helps, but I'm not sure it helps me enough to get over the line here. In terms of ratings, seam, spin, and batting it's all pretty even. So when in doubt I always go to the Golden Rule "The Brat Pack NEVER show up for friendlies"
Winner?: Fletch

John Howard's Coathangers v Frankston XI
ML has been steadily improving all season. Still a bridge too far here though. Another game where to win a DazBurg like performance is needed and until proven that he can...ML is not DazBurg (ML can feel free to put in his "THANK GOD" here).
Winner?: Frankston XI

Nice write up BP, was disappointed you didn't do a review last time since I won my match ;)
Why do you keep talking about seem bowling for todays games? It is on a slow pitch so favours medium pacers and spin bowlers. My best 3 bolwers are a medium, a wristy and a finger spinner so think I can do alright. Especially when it is windy for my game giving my spinners even more chance to get wickets!
Then again no one seems to be betting on me in the super prediction game with a few banking on the other guy. Hopefully I can piss them off then ;)

BratPack

When I mention Seam bowlers, I'm talking more about the Seam ratings where medium pacers are lumped into

Boomz

Will be a tough match ur right about that... My best bowlers are spinners & mediums though so should be close.

DazBurg

the giant killer tag will never be redundant for me maybe i am favorite 3rd week in a row
but there plenty of giants on here to flex my teams muscle against

including u i still wanna damn win against u :P

MajorLazer

Let's see if I can pull off the upset today. :)

Hopefully we do get to play. After our friendly, you'd be favourite, but that's how it suits me. ;)

I really can't be called a giant, so that tag will be useless.

well but ummm
damn my boys won't possibly turn up then ....lol

roo boys!

Should be a thriller of a match, I have faith in my mediums, but also he played 4 mediums against BP and 1 FS so could be in a bit of trouble...

8-6 Suited

I got this like herpes on a whores lips.
