Correct me if I am wrong. ???

If there is 5 or 4 rounds before prices start to change, and if the rule is still the same as last year where a player has to play atleast 4 games for there price to change therefor if you start with a gamble or a vespremi instead of Petrie and there prices will go up which means Petrie will be still on he's starting price cause he will only play 2/4 or 3/5 games. Which means if he is actually doing really good and gamble mayb be worth 300,000 we can downgrade gamble to petrie to gain 100,000 and a better player.
Hopefully this made scence  :-\

After 3 games played prices start going up or down so would mean Petrie if behaves or not get an injury at the end of rd 5 his price will move. But with your reasoning means you are going to use a trade for him. Me I would have him in n cover him for rds 1 & 3.

Gamble has rd 4 bye so have to take that into calculation also.

If petrie stays injury free/suspension free in round2,4 and 5 his price will go up at the end of Round 5, a pain with his suspension in Rd 1! :|

He was a auto selection until he was rubbed out! Now he is in no mans land, not playing enough to start with and playing to early to down grade to !!

yeah too much $$$$ sitting on the bench too often early, i'd rather take vez or gable playing every week

Ill be taking Knights. risky i know, but i think it could pay off he stays iaway from serious injury.

The main word there would be IF he stays away from injury. That's what worries me about Knights. IMO

yeh ur rite. although i think everyone will have one risk in this area. (higgens, petrie etc)
Its my only player thats injury prone after last year i started with higgens, gray, drummond etc. (dumb i know)

charliesheen

i had choice between Knights + Vezpremi/Gamble, but went with vez for last 2 starting spots/

See how vezpremi goes in Round 1-2-3
See hw knights goes in 1-3

make a decision by r4

nathan11

had him out of my team until mzungu went down and had to rejig my side, with prestia not playing this week made it pretty easy to swap him out for petrie, both not scoring week 1 but at least sure petrie playing round 2

MrRiosWan

At 180k Gamble isn't a bad bench option.

Gamble is definitely not worth the gamble.  I thought he was an Ace, turns out he's a Joker (or more like 4 of spades).

MrRiosWan

Yeah he's a disappointment alright. That's the game though, some Gambles pay off and other times their shower. Not all his fault though, saints all round have been rubbish.
