what do ppl think about him getting dropped?? would have been interesting to see if fev had kicked that goal and the blues won last week, whether the axe would have been weilded.

i think he has been made a scapegoat. but the question is will it be just a one week ban or will it be longer??

thought?

Yeah, makes ya think. Carlton supporters, is Hooligan gettin' the Laidley "Wells treatment"? Maybe Carlton are just better at keepin' it on the QT?

Well the blues have lost a few close games in the last 2 weeks and Ratten has a long list of players to choose from. (For a change!) lol

I say it will depend on how Christopher Yarran goes. If Yarren plays well Houlihan might be out for a while.

Still Houlihan has been out of footy for a while and he should make it back depending on Yarran or any more injuries...

Houlihan is the greatest downhill skier known to man. He junks it up big time when Carlton are going well and does little when they are not.

The reason he got booted is because he is extremely unaccountable and lacks any defensive sense. This obviously is great for fantasy footy but I am not too sure how much it impresses Ratten.....clearly not much.

That would be the "Wells treatment", wouldn't it? So what matters now is how Hooligan takes up the challenge to be more accountable - watch his vfl game/s, I guess.

Hmm, i've got the feeling Ratts is using some kind of rotation for the older players.  Keep in mind scotland and hadley have also had periods in the 2s.

So it might just be a one week thing for him.

Apparently he got dropped for breaking the team rules.
