Pendlebury, a swallow, boyd and burgoyne. Or j Selwood, Montagna, pendlebury and foley. Which first 4 would be the better option?

All depends if Foley is fully fit. If he is. get on option 2.

Yea i reckon that one too. Just not sure what to do with 4th mid. It,s driving me insane lol

IMO I think you have to mix it up so I'd say.

Pendles,selwood,boyd,foley.. 8)

OK. This is pretty tight...
Option 1
S. Pendlebury: Has incresed his SC average in every season he has played so far, I can't see why that would stop this year with silky disposal this man is a great fit in any midfield. With an average of 110.5 in 2010 I think he can step it up again in 2011...
Average: 115
A. Swallow: Dramatic rises in average the last 2 seasons have seen Andrew Swallow become a fully fledged premium, last season was his first season with an average over 100 but I expect him to achieve this again, with ease.
Average: 115
M. Boyd: A provan fantasy performer with averages over 95 the last 3 seasons, however I can't really see him increasing his output in 2011. Should still go fairly well though.
Average: 105
S. Burgoyne: Played well in his debut season at Hawhorn, and I think he will go well again this season although like Boyd I can't really see him increasing his scoring much.
Average: 100

Total: 435

Option 2
J. Selwood: A monster, although he may be targeted more this year with the little bald man leaving, I can see him improving again.
Average: 120
L. Montagna: Had a very good season in 2009, averaging 125. Unfortunately I can't see the Saints reaching those heights again in 2011 and thus I can only see Joey maintaining his 2010 average of 115.
Average: 115
Pendlebury: See above.
Average: 115
N. Foley: A quick and strong midfielder, I haven't taken the risk on him this season however he does represent great value and is capable of averaging 90 if he is fully fit. Problem is I think he will start the season a little slow and take a bit of time to make cash.
Average: 85

Total: 435

So they are dead even :-\. I will take option 1 though because I think Foley could easily average less than that.

Alex, you're a true pro 8)

cortez

Cheers mate. Ah what you reckon tho. Jack to average more than burgoyne?

Alex7089

Yeah I'd say so Cortez. Burgoyne doesn't have a lot of room to improve, Jack has the potential to up his average by 10-15.

cortez

Thanks for the advice mate

Bob the builder

Hard one, Jack certainly had a great 2010 averaging 100 over 22 rounds.

Burgoyne played less games due to early injury but still managed 99 over 15 rounds

I think a fully fit Burgoyne would be more potent, so rather than sit on the fence I'll say Burgoyne by a nose in 2011.. 8)

cortez

Thats true. Won't burgoyne have more players taking off him tho?

Alex7089

But it will also mean he will get less attention. There is always a chance Jack could end up in a tagging role in some games as well...I still think Jack though, although there certainly is an argument for Burgoyne.
