Fraser and petrie on your bench. Thats a pretty expensive Ruck bench!

I know. It will be worth it though, just you wait and see. Rucks are always a headache, and with the byes i think it's vital to make sure you aren't caught short in this area.

Big call having almost $500k sitting on the pine as emergencies. Could be a masterstroke though... Like the idea behind it.. but seems that you'd then be 1-2 premiums short in starting squad?

Why the hell is everyone on Jolly? He's got little to no upside. His highest average is 92 and he won't do much better ever again.

Cox is heinously underpriced and has the potential to score 105+

Spend 40k more and get yourself a premium keeper who is fit and firing.

Is Grimes a premium? If so, then i've got 13.

Yeah, but person cat rates Martin as a premium too. Having Petrie and Fraser on your bench is a waste of $$

meow meow

I didn't include Martin in that count. I never said he was a premium anyway. I said he might average 100, and that he'll be better than playing rookies due to a) scoring more than them and b) will be able to upgrade him quicker. I'm happy to waste that money and never have to worry about the rucks for the whole season. I can easily trade one of them out and still be comfortable. They will both make a fair bit of money.

sid3bysid3

cox mate - he had no preseason last year and that is why it was the first season in forever he didnt produce the goods.

i agree that his opposition has been fair average this year to date so its not the best indication but his late season form last year was good enough that im taking the sandi, cox duet.

Ryder.

If going for overall, he's a good pick.

Yep & IF you make the Grand Final & IF you have not used all your trades you do for him re the bye in rd 24. overall yes a good choiice but seriously the byes are a killer this year

FactHunt

I find it mildly amusing that people are talking about leaving out Cats, Bombers and Blues because of finals... you get an extra game out of these guys during the year to make finals, and then when finalising your team you have the option to sideways/upgrade trade to make your side competive for the big one/s. In my mind, it makes more difference who has byes earlier in the year (to leave out i mean) so that you can bring these guys into your team after their second bye. It's just a huge shame that the GCS are one of the sides that have their byes early... and some of the sides with plenty of premium potential have their byes late. (Gibbs, Murph, Judd, ?Waite, Chappy, Selwood, Enright, ?S. Johnson, Watson, Ryder, ?D. Fletcher... ect) ...and yes i do realise that many of the serious sc'ers want their team completed by rounds 11-12, and only 1 team (GCS) has had their 2 byes to this point, but i think this year with the byes and extra bench players, we might see a small change in trends.

Ryder.
Have fun round 24.

Thanks pal I will. I've got Fraser and Petrie in reserve, so i'll just throw whichever one of them is performing better.

fraser or petrie u wont even make the  grand final anyway and fraser if u got him ur gone!!
