Unless you have the cash for a real prem player better to get a rookie in 4th spot and upgrade elsewhere!  ;)

Surely you would have to say the J.Corey (injury-free) is a "real" premium, wouldn't you??

If not, consider this: over the 5 years prior to last year (which was destroyed by injury, but would be unfair to label him injury-prone) he averaged 105, 98, 107, 108, 107, missing only 5 games in that period!!

Now I'm unsure as to your definition of a real premium, but by those stats he is IMO. Anyway, as long as he's injury-free & plays at least 1 pre-season game to prove it, he'll be in my team Rd. 1, because he's an absolute bargain at $427,300. (Same provisos go for Anthony & Foley by the way.)

So for me - get Joel Corey. (as long as he plays pre-season). Good luck mate!

Corey is getting on a bit isn't he? If i were to take a geelong player it would be Selwood or bartel

Joel Corey just turned 29 (on 17th Feb).

By that logic:
- Is Dean Cox getting on a bit? (29 last Aug - older than Corey)
- Is Paul Chapman getting on a bit? (29 last Nov - older than Corey)
- Is Matthew Pavlich getting on a bit? (29 last Dec - older than Corey)
- Is Matthew Boyd getting on a bit? (28, turns 29 in Aug this year)
- Is Adam Goodes getting on a bit? (31 this Jan - older than Corey)
- Is Cameron Bruce getting on a bit? (31 last Sept - older than Corey)
- Is Brian Lake getting on a bit? (just turned 29 - same age as Corey)

Now whilst I am well aware that none of these guys are spring chickens, they are quality players, who are proen scorers in fantasy terms (as well as the real thing!), & age shouldn't be the only determinant when choosing a player/players...

I've recently decided to go J.Corey over L.Anthony because I can't be sure that Anthony (or any number of younger players) will EVER score consistently over 100 - I know that Corey is a proven scorer & at 29 there is absolutely no reason he can't score well this year.

But these are just my thoughts & I thought they might be thought-provoking for others.

Good luck to you all!!  ;D

He's that dude who Beau Waters wiped out. That's about the most impressive thing Adams has done so far.
