How relevant is Gardiner to STK now? McEvoy is coming along in leaps and bounds and he is 32 coming off groin problem from last year...thoughts? Lyon reckons Gardiner is fine now but with the interchange rule, who will be the prominent ruck?

I can't see either being rested in the fwd line either as this has been given to gilberto and haynes to construct a magpies like forward line.

McEvoy will take over this year. Gardner will still play a role provided he is fit, but this will be his last season.

yeah I reckon gardiner wont play as much anymore.. mcevoy has really come on as a player and I reckon lyon will play him.

thats what I thought, but my punt on mcevoy relies on him doing all the ruck work...

stupid interchange rule.
