Well I just found out I will be captaining my side in the finals (start this week), batting at number 4, and opening the bowling.

No pressure :P

but going into the finals being the best bowler for the season you have alot of weight on your shoulders.

i will be expected to take wickets!

I'm not captaining mine but I will be opening the batting. Seniors, averaging 78.16, not too shabby. Only 1 score under 30 and it was 8 :( Inside edge played on. :(

Whats your highest scores?

Mine is 166* from opening, ran out of partners. Then got 6-11 with a hat-trick bowling. Got me the performance of the year at our end of season awards night for the club and leagues player of the month. :D

Don't bowl as much now though as I did. generally get 3-5 overs and pick up a wicket or 2 every now and then. But I'm pretty efficient. Don't keep track of my bowling figures though unless I actually do something haha :p

I will play seniors once school cricket finishes because right now they clash and school cricket is compulsory.

Mines the opposite normally :P Struggle for my first 10 (if they are good bowers) and the rest then come at over a run a ball  :P

Normally I will just wait out the first over, leaving anything wide and blocking anything straight. Of course if it is a pie it will be on its way to the fence no matter where I am in my innings :P

Weird, the better the bowler the better I play, I'm more aware of my shots where as bad bowlers I'm just like "Oh yeah, I'll smash that" :P
If I do go out I always get through the good bowers then go out trying to kill the bad ones.

yes, well i might have to take both roles if our batsmen don't perform in finals, like every other finals ::)

in the grand final a couple years ago we made 65, bowled them out for 30 :D
