I'd got my pick waiting to finish my team off. Overall I am quite happy with my team, would be the #1 D team out of all of the teams I believe. :P

And D wins championships. :p

Why would you guys start your roster from the 5 and work down to 1? It should be the other way lol
cos you always build around the centre where possible!!   ;)
(for the lesson, see Phoenix Suns ...)    :(

k, sorry - i try not to touch the putor on w/ends as far as possible.   ;)

ok, with pick 57 i'll take ...

Blake Griffin

yeah, i know this an all-time draft but if we're at pick 56 and Stojakovic is up (no offense intended Pot) - he was good at his peak and Pots probably took him for his 3pt shooting (a la Reggie Miller), so no probs - but i may as well take Grffin on the up and up, possible Hall of Famer (barring inj which he's already had) ...

j959

Team "Underdogs" ...   (cos my actual first pick was actually something like no13 or 14 ...)   ;)

(just for Shaggy) ...

PG: Jason Kidd - led the Nets to the NBA Finals twice (i say again, that's "led the Nets to the NBA Finals")
SG: Jerry West - the original "Mr Clutch" or the NBA logo
C: Bill Russell - too many NBA titles to list and you build your team around D
PF: Karl Malone - the "Mailman"
SF: Elgin Baylor - him and Dr J, led the way for MJ, Kobe and LeBron

Bench: Patrick Ewing - "back-up" centre
Bench: Chauncey Billups - "back-up" PG
Bench: Ama're Stoudemire
Bench: Joe Dumars - someone's gotta defend Jordan and Dumars did it better than most
Bench: Blake Griffin - young buck

RiOtChEsS

Not really. You have no post defender.

Pretty sure McHale was a solid in the low post...
