okay, so my current midfield is Swan, ???, Bartel, Anthony, Swallow and Gaff with Polec, harris and Atley on the bench.
i can afford any player and would like to know your oppinions on which one.

The best option will not necessarily be the one who scores the most.
It will be the one who marries in with the rest of your team around the byes.

IMO Selwood or Judd on ppg if that's your selection criteria

I'd say Judd. If you pick Selwood then you will have two cats. Maybe even GAJ if you can afford him

2 word's - Luke Hodge

...As long as you don't have more than 2 other hawks players a must have in any serious team IMO.

Certainly not a must have....He loses his "must have-ness" by being only a midfielder this year.
Selwood, Judd, Swan, Pendles, Montagna etc etc will score the same as he does week in week out
