Barham isn't guaranteed a start maybe you need to go Ablett out for Judd or similar type keeper save 200k and trade Beams for Coughlan...

Barham moves to the bench as Coughlan averages more

Ablett break even is 230 and will drop approx 60k if he scores 120 in his next game

The money you saved from seeling Yablett can be used to get him back for Rich once he maxes out

The makers of this game, when they decided to give us only 20 trades for a season (including finals and 150 injuries), never intended for us to trade a player out then casually trade him back in later. We just cannot afford that luxury. This is what I am doing. I am keeping Ablett because there will be alot of panic trading of him (out) and I want to be part of a minority that kept him and have him win games for me later (hey I hung onto PBurgoyne for 2 weeks so I am sure I can for the best player in the comp). I am trading Beams for Coughlan and holding my breath on that one! He can fill in for the 2-3. You of course, will have to start both Coughlan and Barham. But its worth it. I dont care if Ablett falls below the break even or not. I dont even look at that for locks. After all, he is one of the few whos price started high and has gone even higher. I am also only about to do my 3 trade for the season and I am spewing I have to do that!

Couldnt have said it any better mcwarne..infact we both kept purgoyne and are keeping ablett...doin the coughlan for beams trade aswell...the more ppl that get rid of ablett the better i say.

totally agree with last 2 comments, no way i would trade ablett now. whats 3 weeks????? nothing in the scheme of things.

thanks for the advice all, couglan for beams looks the goods. will wait and see for thurs night

Just wondering why everyone is so keen to trade out Beams? There hasn't been any report of his injury on the pies site or anywhere else. Even if he is a bit sore, he plays on Monday so he has plenty of time to get himself fit. Pies would surely drop barham ahead of him anyway...

Beams scored 35 in a half of footy, so it's not like he can't score well anymore. He has a BE of 37 so u should still be able to milk another 30-50K out of him.

On Ablett, I think people are a bit worried that his 2-3 weeks will turn into 3-4 maybe more. Then when he comes back he might have OP and not score anywhere near his best (Similar to Judd in 2007). Trading him out to the right player could get u well ahead of the pack, it'sjust a question of which player?

you sure about that ablett breakeven ClarksonsArmy?
Hope you are right, seeing as though i dont have him in my side, and looking to trade him in later (who isn't though)

Not at all right. His BE is 154 which for Ablett is quite getable.

mcwarne, I agree with you... however, I guess what is on peoples minds is what happened to Chad Cornes last year.

An injury that stretched out a bit longer than originally thought, then when he came back, not the same scoring machine we were used to.

With that in mind, I am thinking of pulling the trigger on the trade.

Beams does not have a body to play 8+ games this season, his upside is limited IMO.

i have made the trade into couglan and now down to 13.

i have penciled in Anthony after 2 games to be traded for Rich also at around week 9-10

i also heard a report on fox news that H.Hartlett did not tear his hamstring afterall and wil play this week.
