Looking for a 5th forward premium gun. Currently got Sylvia, Chapstick, Roo, Franklin.

Don't want another Geelong player like Johnson as not too keen on the bye bin finals (already have 2 cats anyway). If  get Pavlich it's a donut in round 6 as I have I.Smith (MPP) currently in mids. and Mzungu, Franklin, Pavlich and Chappy will all be out.

Donut doesn't bother me TOO much.

Pavlich is amazing!! though he should be considered more as an upgrade target. His scores were devine when Barlow was playing, so i would wait for Barlow to get some form then jump on the both of them, definitely do it after there 2nd bye.

Who would you recommend? I currently have ROK instead, injury ruined season last year, hopefully less tagging roles this year. Thoughts?

Other options:
Stevie J
Green
Didak
Goodes
Rioli

well its still iffy with ROK, is he still tagging? nobody knows yet, its either him or Jack tagging. Based on NAB Stevie J looked good and dominated the 2nd game, Goodes performed consistent again. I would monitor Stevie, Green and Goodes throughout the NAB. Didak had a slight interrupted preseason, hes another upgrade target in mind for me.

Well with ROK he also had groin problems last year, new coach as well (hopeful he no longer plays ROK as a tagger.)

Goodes: Too old imo, will be playing mainly forwards
Stevie J: Already have Chappy in forward line and Bartel in mids. Would hurt for the byes, also Cats have a bye in a league final.
Green: Have Colin and Grimes. Also fairly old, will watch him though. Although I don't see him improving
Didak: Can't fault him except for his injury interupted preseason.

Holz

take the risk and jump on higgins, has the potential to be a top 5 forward and for his price is a steal. If he only manages the first 7 or so games and goes down than you could probably trade to anyone as he should be worth around 400k

Couldn't bring myself to do that, got burnt by him last year when I traded him in. Too injury prone imo.
