Hi all
I am considering using Craig Bird as my 5th Mid. I think he is an 80pt player, finally fit & ready to go

My question is this... If he averages 80pts over the first 9 weeks (Bye in rd 5), roughly what price will he be likely to be at that stage?
Like many others, I am hoping to bring in Ablett after rd 9. I currently have $164k in the bank

This is my first post, so I hope i have posted in the right place.

Thanks

Kudos for your unique thinking. Another one could be the likes of Keiren Jack ?
And dont be shy to post it is a great way to better your self at this game.

Man this guy posted huge numbers against WSG It was an inferior opposition however he and Josh Kennedy will take a lot of confidence out of that and either would be an excellent mid unique

Bird will spend alot of time in the swans midfield now that Kirk has retired he could start to rack up a lot of possessions, He has a huge motor on him and a good kick, Bird may be able to ravk up the 80-85 points per game and notch up the odd ton.

definitely worth looking at for $250K. Could be a good option, but is Harris or Mzunga a safer option with more $$ in the bank? I am also not 100% sure if he will line up in our best 22.

Certainly worth thought though!!

 Thanks guys

I will have another look at him in the pre-season.
My gut tells me he will be a big improver this season, then again I'm wrong in this game more    often than I'm right.(Kurt Tippett,2010, Luke ball 2009, Brock McClean 2010,2009,2008,2007 Arrgghhr) Don't you just love Supercoach. Its like a drug!

Cheers ;D
