I think you'll find he has 3 players with MPP in the midfield. Also, leaving cash in the kitty is a valid method and actually saves trades, doesn't cost them, as long as you pick good rookies. The risk is there is only so much prediction you can make about rookies before round 1. I started last yeat with 700K in the bank, had a pretty horrible run of injuries but still had 6 trades left by the start of the finals.


My only major criticism of your side is that it is too "generic". Your structure is good, you have decent MPP coverage and apart from doubling up on a few GC players in Def and Mid (which is very manageable) have accounted for byes very well.

You don't really have any unique players. All of those players are very common picks, and for a reason, they are, within all conventional logic, good picks. They problem is the way to get ahead is to find a few players that aren't common picks that have great years. That puts you ahead of the pack.

Hang on, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Deledio a D/M MPP & Mzungu a M/F MPP???

But I agree that I would spend more of my cap/cash to make an upgrade or 2... Perhaps Polec & Gaff to Bartel & Atley..?
