i would take swan and a defender but that is an awkward price..

you could take a punt on one of the following:

Hurley
Adcock
Ladson
Everitt
Raines?

I've seen far too many sc'ers waste their time on Adcock over the past 3 seasons... and in a poo team this year to add salt to the wounds. I'd rather go a smokey such as:
Easton Wood- ?new rebound def for the WB. potential big scores if his foot disposal is true.
Nathan Krak- we know he has a good disposal by foot, will age add to his consistency? how will the GC's go this year?
I'd probably even run Robert Murphy or Rheece Shaw over Adcock...
All that being said, the Pendles/Hurn combo is looking pretty nice by comparison.

Pendles & Hurn every day of the week!
Ask yourself this, Pendles is a star, he will keep on improving and probably increase his PPG by a bit, Swan, how will he improve? For a player of his skill (still good, but not as good as that of a Goddard or an Ablett) he can't really get much better than last year. Meaning he will either stagnate or fall while Pendles rises. Who would you rather have? Plus Hurn will easily outscore most options you find under 350k.
