Can't decide what to do with petrie.
Put him in the fwd line and have 2 gun rucks eg sandi and cox
or put him as number 2 ruck and fill his fwd spot with another gun maybe brad green.
Any thoughts?

Think most teams have this problem. I am locking in 2 prem rucks and play Petrie in the forward with Tippet (GC) as a bench player in the forward line.

Sure others will have there own plan for him  :D

In the same boat mate im thinking of leaving Petrie at 2nd ruck , not jumping of just yet think he'll average 65-80 worst case and then prob upgrade him after about round 8-10 , was only is first game back for a long time so not to worried just yet !

I have been having the same issue and the only way i could come up with a solution was to think that he would be much easier to cover in the forwards if he is not scoring what you'd like than he would be in the ruck..

Plastic Boy

I Have petrie in the FWD line...

2 premo rucks as there really isnt anything decent apart from Sandilands and Cox

popedelio

I don't have Petrie, i have a different mid pricer, though i would go the double premium rucks.

Hoggy

If you are going to have him, definitely think you should put him in the forward line. Less downside/easier to cover if he bombs rather than if you had him in the rucks. That being said, if you have a fwd/ruc in your forwards should be fine to put him in the rucks.

SydneyRox

I have him in the fwds with Sandi and Cox/Jolly in the ruck

He is a cash cow, and probably not a keeper, so having him in the fwds is best IMO so you can upgade him later in the year. Set and forget the rucks (fingers crossed)

Windigo

I have Cox and Sandi.

Have Petrie in the fwd line.

As a rule I always buy big in the rucks and just forget about 'em so I can concentrate on other positions in my team.
