I wasnt that excited about anthony and pretries peformance tonight and im thinking as i have goddard, gibbs, deledio, broughton and grimes it could be too strong so im considering droping deledio to coad and starting heppel than i could upgrade anthony to however i want ( probably montagna) than going petrie to sandilands so i have sandi cox combo.

so which is the better lineup in your opinion
1: Deledio, Anthony, Petrie
2: Coad, Montagna, Sandilands (this would mean heppel starting not coad)
in terms of averages im thinking 95 + 95 + 80  (270) v  65 + 115 + 100 (280)

im not happy about droping roo players, but based on my expected averages it looks like option 2 and i think the person most likely not to reach there average is petrie, however heppel  and certaintly montagna and sandi will be unable to beat my expected average my much but anthony could.

too early to panic Holz give it atleast until after scratch match 3 to pull the trigger...

Holz

not really panicking as i have been wanting to get monty and sandi into my team for a while. I think i will end up keeping petrie but anythony in my 4th mid spot is the most likely to go for me the 4th mid and 4th forward spot is a horror to pick.

in the mids i have been tossing up between monty, anthony and a rokoie and the forward post has changed so much i went brown to pav to brown to sylvia and now i have higgins locked and loaded iny my team

the thing is players rarely score their average and its hard to keep the faith... take Monty for example he had a few 60s last year and a few 160s...
im not setting anything in stone until the deadline is a stones throw away ;)

Holz

i dont care what they score each week as im going for overall, but i get your point the thing with going the 2 guns and the rookie is they should give you a good total season output and anywhere btween 60 and 80 is good for a rookie.

Bluke

I'd take the two guns and the rookie strategy.

In fact, I avoid mid pricers like the plague. Grimes and Foley are my only mid pricers atm this year.

Petrie was in but now I'm not sure. Maybe Vezspremi instead, or Knights

whoa Holz! i get where you're coming from but surely you'd want to wait til at least a game or two back at 4 quarter games before pulling the trigger or giving them the gun??
