Yer, he wasn't too impressive today. Was his first game back though.

1. What position do people think he will play? If he plays forwards like today I'm not picking him. Goldstein/McIntosh in ruck?? Petrie plays forwards?

2. Where did he play whwne he averged 86 and 84?

3. Will someone like Krak who will save you 70k in your opinon (obviously no one will know) outsocre him?

Fair go it was his frist real hit out in about 6 months... and he had very poor service up forward.. He did look very slow but he'll be right...

Shouldn't he get suspended for that bump to Milburn's head? If it was Lance Franklin then he would cop weeks.

Its offiicial, Petrie just got booted from my team for Krak after todays slack effort. Looked slow and wont be playing i nthe ruck at all like he used to. Thoughts?

chadburger is correct

petrie is going to get rubbed out for the first couple weeks of the season so he's out my team, in comes fraser :-\

If you look at the DT scores over the 2 games they have played then Petrie actually outscores Krakouer.

Petrie - 58

Krakouer - 47
Gibbs - 38
A Otten - 50
Heppel - 36
Duigan - 38
Smith - 36

Also keep in mind that was his first game back

If you want a cheap ruck then look at Keefe from Collingwood. 202cm backman to play on the resting ruckmen. Wouldn't surprise me if he plays all 22. If he plays round 1, then i'll keep Petrie as ruck emergency all year, and go with Sandi and Fraser as 1&2, then sell Keefe to upgrade Fraser to Jolly. I think it's vital to have strong rucks with the bye this year. Ruckmen are prone to getting injured.

Does Petrie usually play all CHF and no ruck like he did today? With Hmac and Goldstein can't see him getting a hit in the ruck.

Im sorry but whats so shocking about a score of 58. the game is only 80 minutas long so based on the usaul game thats a ok average right?.

i dont know what people expected but i certiatly didnt expect to see a huge score and you have to remeber they did play a semi strong gellong and bulldogs

he will be fine , no need to take him out he will get better and better , he will do his job and cover ruck while making some cash what do you want him to do average more then sandi

he is what he is a really good cheap ruck or forward option that will make money
