21.3   .   Stevenson to Manekshaw : My sources tell me that the first box was used in 1874 but it wasn't until 1974 that the first helmet was used. Manekshaw will certainly be thankful for the former after that ball - and with the way Stevenson is bowling he'll probably have cause to appreciate the latter soon too! That was a nasty blow!
