Hmmm, looking at the legend for the Red Cross, it shows:

(Be warned that sometimes players are given this symbol wrongly due to incorrect radio reports.)

If it was true, it would be shown on SuperFooty. Check the Teams for Round 1, when they are released. =]

A Corkie isn't something to worry about. If it is a really bad one it might mean missing a week. Round 1 shouldn't be a problem.

roo boys!

He'll be fine. I panicked a bit when I saw the red cross but it's just a corkie like hawk said.

he got corked they didnt want to risk it so the subed him, should only be a bandaid

roo boys!

Nah Red Cross is correct, meaning he didn't return for the rest of the game.

Have you ever had a corkie? They go away after a couple of days maximum. Toy will be fine.....

true but for me a red cross is meaning his out for 1-3 weeks, bandaid it just sore

Red cross just means out for the game. Band aid means there still playing, but sore.

The correct definitions:

Injured (red cross). This player will most probably not return for the rest of the game due to an injury. (Be warned that sometimes players are given this symbol wrongly due to incorrect radio reports.)

Sore (band-aid). This player has hurt himself, from a muscle injury or a knock. It's not bad enough to put him out of the game.

i heard it wasnt bad enough to put him out of the game, they just subbed him because thats the best way, you are correct rooey but yeah.

Spot on. It means it falls in a grey area where it could be either.

But he'll be fine so it's all OK :)
