now that i have done that i have realised that it didnt work when i tried to trade fevola but i might leave him there and see what you think because im not sure about him!
the reason i have so many gold coast players is my mate told me to because if they play 3 games then they will go up in price and i can then sell them for better players! is this a good idea and if so there any that i have picked that you think wont play three games?
i am also thinking of getting jared polec but im not sure who i should trade him for

karmichael hunt

get rid of dempsey, fletcher, kennelly, mcphee, scully, HUDSON!!, ballantyne, porplyzia, fevola, nathan ablet definately! and maybe look at better options for rich, tambling and foley.

actually just scrap this completly and start again imo.

what you wanna do for dream team if you wanna have a good team is to either be getting guns, which will average close to 90+ for the season or a rookie at basement price which will play and increase in value. as they increase you can sell them off and upgrade the other rookies you have and therefore making your team nearly all uns by the end of the season which should be your goal. in this mix of rookies and guns you can chuck in the occasional mid pricer which has potential, eg morton, adcock and petrie to add some stability to your team as well. other main mid procers to look at are knights and anthony along with foley. try to avoid any second year players as that is usually a slump year dt wise for their development.

hope this has helped and good luck for the season!

Like a lot of beginner DTer's, you're making the mistake of picking way too many players in the $200k-$350k price range. You should be aiming to upgrade to a team consisting entirely of players that average over 85 by the end of the year, but this starting team has only 10 guys who will probably average over 85 and a whole load of guys who will neither average 85 nor gain any value. Of the guys you have picked in that price range, the only ones I think are good picks for DT this year are Jack Riewoldt and Jack Grimes. Your #4-#7 backs are all bad picks, go for discounted players (see http://www.fanfooty.com.au/blog/2011/02/10/2011-discounts-premiums) or rookies instead of key position players like Jamison who will simply never be good DT scorers.
