Beams to Coughlan

a bit of a risk, but im seriously considering it aswell. Cogs' style is hard contested footy which does increase the likelyhood of injury. but gees, this week is no fluke he is a genuine player who should only improve. if only delidio went at it with same intensity... i have a few trades up my sleeve so i think i'll take the risk, and worst come to worst you trade him out and make some cash.
but good luck with what ever you do.

Considering the exact same trade.. thought Coughlan looked good against the Swans, certainly put more heart into it than Deledio. Averaged ~95 in 2006 but thats 2 big injuries ago. If he can stay fit for 4-5 weeks he could be a good cash cow - priced at ~40avg but could average twice that..

Have Ablett and Hartlett also so would be looking at a doughnut otherwise (which i'm not scared of, have to take a LT view)...

i am considering a very similar trade in robinson to coughlan.
my only concern is when cousins and johnson come back into the richmond side, what happens to coughlan then?
less TOG resulting in fewer points or loss of spot?
what are your thoughts on that little issue?

na not a problem mate there r plenty of guys dropped b4 him.

coughlan does get his own ball so johnson and cousins wont, i guess "steal" points from him, but i guess he may be rotated through the bench more often when they are playing. It is injuries that worry me the most, who else got the old german calf blood into the hamstrings?? it was someone from geelong wasnt it?
