That's because after 8 weeks in to the season everyone has been playing their best side for the entire rankings system. So playing again this week wouldn't have changed much because you are just replacing your round 1 squad with your round 9 squad, as is everyone else.

It's in the first 8 weeks of the season that you see the big jumps in youths because lots of teams lose heaps of players who have promoted to seniors. 8 weeks in your basically where you will be for the rest of the season

That's true. Actually next week I would've jumped a fair bit as I played a weaker than usual side in the week that will get knocked out, but with me selling players I'll likely rate the same as I did in week 2.

I just halved my ranking in 1 week - went from 10th in the world to 5th :)
