Hi all,

whats the deal with Heath Shaw? everyone is so quiet about him this year? i have him in my team and dont see a reason why no one else does? am i missing something?

yes he had a pretty ordinary season last year, and the forward tag is a big of a pain, but dont you recon he can improve on last year? :-/

reconfig

If you want the car, you have to try to pick playeres that are top 10 material for the position they play in as a keeper. Shaw isat that price where you would have to consider him a keeper, and he will not be a top 10 defender in dt this year.

masterdead

You will get a head ache having this guy in your back line. He is not consistent and when you need him to pull big numbers he does not.

CraigH

I'm taking a punt with him. I think he'll be back to what he does best... mopping up cheap ball.
I have him alongside Goddard, Connors, Broughton and Grimes, so plenty of scoring potential.

LF

he was a real pain last year pulling out some great dt scores and then pulling some utter crap scores .
thats enough for me to say no to him this year.

crap scores was due to the forward tag, i dont think he will get tagged as much this year.

Mish

what are some alternatives to heath? happy with his nab cup performances so far.

A bloke called Gregory Broughton.  ;)

Heath is either going to average 95+ or something like 70-85. In my opinion is much more likely going to be the latter

i will be keeping a close eye on him over the next few weeks, but pretty certain his a lock in my team. worse case scenario i think he will still average 80+ which means he will maintain his price and can switch to a more inform player during the season.

fattony

way too inconsistent for me. one week he'll be in form, next week he'll make you curse him by getting a 20.

well worse case scenario is he starts off with a decent 80-90 average and than hits 3 50s in a row and drops under 300k whiich is what he did basically last year, where guys like waters, kennely, eski and maguire all got to his value or above

Mish

he will be an interesting player, but i will be keeping a close eye on him during the nab cup as a pottential keeper/unique as no one else seems to have him. i really think he has the pottential to get back to his 09 form.

makes him an upgrade target for me - bring on the Heater rollercoaster!  ;)
