Is this round screwing everyone up aswell.
Bruce, Broughton, Hodge, Sandi, Rioli and Pavlich....Lets hope all my bench are named that week

Boomz

Not for me as I'm going for league...

bjrouse

Yeh...I always start going for overall....2 years and 2 top 1000 finishes so my heart says overall
but.......
I have some smart a*rses in my league I want to smash

And odds are against me to win so....

Jugganauts

If your going for overall win heres the secret:
Yours your trades very wisely don't just trade a cash cow because you can get a better person for 15k extra
Make sure you have MPPS that go somewhere, You dont want a midfielder to back MPP but no back to mid

How can you have too much MPP? The more you have the more flexibility you have to deal with the byes, injuries and suspensions.

Obviously if you are picking players for MPP who you don't think will score well or even play that is an issue but if you think the players will score well, then you can't have too much.

Some are prems, some are rookies.
I didn't select it to be that way. It just happened.

bj - if you've got 6 prems out in one week (and it's safe to assume you have goddard and riewoldt), then maybe you should consider trading some of these players in after round 6...otherwise you're just going to lose too many points (Even if you have cover).

There would have only been 3 price changes by then (maybe 2 if you start a player with a bye before the 3-bye round). So if you start the season with some cash in hand, there shouldn't be any risk of these players becoming unaffordable. The only concern is the amount of trades you'll be using.

So true, but at least everyone faces it.

That is a good point and well worth a look.
I will have to think about it as trades are needed more than oxygen at the backend
