i know that eventually both of these guys are gonna be DT regulars just not sure if this year will be it for either of them. TDL slightly ahead after his 7 goals in syd ICM at the weekend.

Boomz

sledgey7

really? why?
you don't think TDL has the potential for big scores across half forward? he was the swans go to player at the end of last season.

hes an essedon supporter and doesn't see the big picture, Hurley still needs more time for development. TDL for sure, espeacially after bagging 7, thats not too bad, probably run accross HF as sledgey said, should score better then Hurley

Hurley also IMO if they are going bad down back will be moved to fill the void

dockerone

I would lean towards Hurley as I he has a higher ceiling imo.

As with any comparison this time of year, watch them both until season proper starts.

Chopps

you cant really look at 7 goals in an inter club match,

dylsta05

deff hurley he is going to be a star and he will take the next step, be careful because he has a bye grand final week

Knowning that means cover or a trade if you make the grand final then

sledgey7

obviously i wouldn't expect to still have whichever one i pick come the grand final. would be looking to upgrade midseason.

antonc

great point. both good mid priced players that can be converted into prems by midseason

I think TDL has star quality.. Sydney will mould him on Michael O'loughlin and I consider him a star of that era.  Both will do well, and I think will have better seasons than their last - and continually so for the remainder of their careers.
