just wondering why no one i have seen is putting Pavlich in their team? the guy has been one of the most consistent premiums for the past 4 years in DT?

valkorum

Prob 2 reasons Mish - Age and Position played.

He isnt getting any younger.
His best DT years is when he plays solely as a CHF - when he plays in the midfield his scoring is about 5 points lower and that puts in the same scoring bracket as a lot of other players.  In saying that, his scoring output is quite consistent when he plays midfield.  When he plays CHF his potential to score 120+ increases significantly but his range of scores from his highest to his lowest is bigger.

Mish

beauty... thanks Valk :)

p.s. any replacements for his price range or lower you can suggest?

valkorum

I still think Pav is a very pickable player - he may be a good unique this year ;)

Mish

lmao! if you said that 2 years that he will be a unique in 2011 people would think your crazy... but i think your right, i might just keep him, see how he does in the cup but he is too consistant, worse case scenario he will keep giving me 90-100 score, meaning he will keep his price value anyways.

valkorum

I think an average of 90 - 100 is what I would expect from Pav this year.  I personally would like to see him be a permanent CHF (with my Freo supporters hat on) as this would be the position that would best help the team.

Bluke

Hes a great upgrade target IMO.

But first I wait and see how he goes form wise. There are better starting midfieldera and better starting forwards this year. (Franklin, Roo, Dids etc)

I like him, if he plays similiar to last season can be 100 pluser if he gets free run his ceiling is massive!

true, his a lock in my foward line

i would like him in my team im just not sure if its worth droping Franklin, Sylvia, Chappy or Voldt.

for me there are heaps of forward rookies, in fact i think there are as many as there are mids so im starting 2 rookies in both the forward and mids. So premium spots are limmited in both positions.

any reason for this, he didnt get injured last season and the byes should help him rest this season.

I feel the same and have bypassed Chappy for Pav atm.  Don't have a good feeling about Chappy and Geelong in general, and he's overdue for a hammy or two.  When I had him pencilled in I didn't feel happy about it.  Feel more confident with Pav.

nas

Chappy, Say he did go down you can trade him for anyone where as (yes last season) every one wanted him in their side later so for some (IM0) might have cost 2 trades to acquire. Remember he modified his training & also with the byes looks like a near definate for me.

Pavlich if playing at CHF being a focal point would be great for team as well as us so maybe if you could why not both?

Flame

I hope none of you get Chappy..he'd be a great unique!!! His form last season and no Gazza suggest he could be a good pick-up!!

Back on topic..Pav will still be consistent..whether he can score as well as he has done in the past who knows!! I'm seriously considering him..
