Green and Sylvia

Hey just a quick one...

y r ppl choosing Sylvia over Green in the FWDS?

i may be missing something but Green was pretty good last year and Sylvia missed a chuck of games.

is it because of Greens age? Sylvias MPP?

i personally think Green is a safer option... ;D

sylvia has a big upside to his play. His scoring ceiling imo is larger than greens. Sure sylvia has had injuries, but when he strings a few games togethre and finds his stride, he can be very consistent and high scoring.

Green is a safer option imo... I doubt Sylvia will ever be consistent.

I'll take steadiness and dependability over flair and risk-taking any day. Green just made it into my side over Goodes. Sylvia too inconsistent and injury-prone in my opinion.

not a big fan on this comment. Sure i like consistency, but you do have to take a risk at some point in the season with a player to get up the rankings. And I think Goodes is a better players than Green, both in real life and fantasy footy. Goodes has played more games in less years than Green, in case you didnt know.

I have Green and Goodes.

I have Green in my team because Melbourne have no byes in during the finals, and they have one of their byes in the DT league by round.

And he had a stellar year last year.

Sylvia has the higher scoring potential. Green is over 30, if you follow those rules. Neither of them will be terrible but neither will make my team.

greens over goodes for consistency? goodes has played over 200 games straight...

everyone has seen what brad green and i dont think he will improve but if your happy with his average then pick him.

Sylvia has massive potential as he showed in round 16, 17, 18 last year i think where he had like 125, 140, 140 something like that and could average 105 +

Yeh I have Green, just because of consistency but Sylvia keeps popping into my head. I also have Goodes for the same reason, consistency....

With Melb improving I would like to think both will have a very good avg at the end of the year anyways.

I've gone with green, Sylvia will get a few massive scores, but over the season Green will average slightly more imo. If you already have Goodes/Chapman/Didak/Krakeour/Prestia etc.. you don't really need the MPP.
