Fairly disappointing I reckon, not that he didnt score well in the 2nd game but the role that he played of a small forward which is not good for dream team. Not convinced

small fwd isn't conducive to good DT scores, plus he is slow and getting older ... I'd also look elsewhere ... :-X

He got a few touches, kicked a goal and did ok. Lets face it, the blokes 28 if he deserved to be playing AFL in the last decade he would of been.. I really hope he succeeds. Of course unless he doesnt get picked in round 1, for 80k you put him in the squad.

What I think is interesting is a lot of coaches have been seduced by the mature age, Michael Barlow (kicks arse, makes lots), DPP (can go mid/bk, but will he play?) attraction. In reality with a few of these mature age fellas especially DPP(Callinan, Smith, Mzungu) etc they all arent gonna necessarily get a kick and only when the opening rounds expose this will people realise.

Therefore pick your rooks wisely...

yeh stupid call, it was the first game and they werent even proper games, if he plays a forward role he should also play thru the middle in the longer (proper games) to let others rest than he could be a great prospect

callinan was a machine in the sanfl and gets lots of tackles

it was just hte first game so wait a few more games to judge him
but will come good, especially for his price
