Grimes-no mids

Solid scores in the two nab cup games, both 39+ in just 40 minutes. Who knows how much time of which he spent on the ground! But he played no (or very little) midfield time. Problem?

I don't think he was ever expected to play heaps of midfield this year - Half Back can be just as high-scoring as Centre.

i found that grimes got a little lost sometimes last year in the mids, chasing the ball around rather than creating play and space.

His half back role could see his scores rise higher than the past, taking the transfer of play marks and kicks.. I hope he becomes the quarterback for the demons.

It's the first round of NAB ::)... He's been training with the midfield so I'd expect later on in the NAB & in the proper season he'll get more time there.
