with all this talk about picking your team for the byes
i have no idea what this means so can someone help me out with the bye clashes

You should pick your team in the Fanplanner (which can be accessed on the FanFooty homepage), as this has the byes for each player listed. Basically if you have two or more players in the same position with byes in the same week, you will have to cover for them with bench players, which will drag your score down for that week. If you don't have bench players available for cover you will get a donut or two. For this reason you should avoid picking players with byes in the same week in the same position.

Better still, Look at the AFL draw and that will help you out

Check the strategy section - I'll be moving this to there soon.

Rnd 4. St-Kilda and WB have the bye with Brisbane so dont have too many from those sides in the same position ie. say in your backs gilbee, goddard, fisher etc or mids, cross, montagna and say a Black, Same in round 6 with Freo, Geel and Haw
