Rookie midfield option

I thought I would put together a rookie midfield setup to see what people thought - I think it is a good way of creating thought about your initial setup

Midfield Rookie Fanplanner squad in the Dream Team competition coached by valkorum. Salary cap left: $12,700.

solid team valkorum!! think this team would pay off in supercoach!! u only need to keep upgading ur midfield.

Maybe 1 defender and 1 forward depending on how Petrie, Knights & Otten go.

Good pick up - it was from a previous incarnation where I still had in the forwards before he came mid only.  I will adjust and edit the original post.

valk does this strategy work for overall, because im thinking of downgrading anthony and getting 5 premium/ high end mid picers (eg grimes) in both the forward line and backline.

I am not confident of this strategy for overall - I lost a lot of points early in the season using this strategy (including my lowest ever score of 1600'ish in round 3). As you know overall is about consistency over the whole season.  I definitely like the strategy for league play as you can have all guns in your side by round 10'ish
