i think he will be like broughton come out and gun it in his first season. IF you look at his TAc scores and the current composition of the essendon backline it appears that he along with hibberd will be fighting for a spot in the backline and if heppel gets the nod ahead of hibberd and starts round 1 he will be a great pickup.

Firstly, I have him in my team, however that's probably because there has been so much hype about him and there's limited publicly available news about other cheap/rookie backs at this stage in the year. The fact that he will be playing in such a high profile team is the reason why there's so many articles on him. Just look at Gumbleton in his debut season - and we all know how that turned out. Marcz makes a good point, you really have got to ask yourself, would you actually pick him if he was not selected in Round 1?

the way i see it is Essendon are pretty average so quite a bit of job security and every position needs help so he will get a run
