My team before watching NAB

My pre-NAB cup team.  This is how I plan to go into AFL round 1 at this stage so all GC players are benched.  Obviously things will change with NAB form.

This is my 1st effort at making a poll so I'm not sure it will work

Defence
3 Freo defenders. trouble come bye rounds. (rd 6 and 16). Adelaide (Otten) also have bye round 16, which means 4 players in your defence will be unavailalbe.


Mids
2 collingwood mids... beware the bye. (rd 7 and 13) leaves you with 2 premiums and lots of rookies.
Callinan... wathc to see if he actually get a game.

Forwards
Higgins.... had him the last few years and always injured. Assuming he is fit, great pick up.
Buddy, Varco, Kraka.... very hot n cold.

Varcoe broke out last year he will improve on last year you would think playing more midfield time

I might be wrong but I thought when more than 1 team has a bye there is no DT that round.  Thats why I figured freo would be a good team to pick from.

Also I heard Callinan got heaps of the ball in the intra club so i figured he's worth a risk for 80k.

I was trying to find room to upgrade buddy to chapman but cant seem to make it work

sounds like ur going for league win dr draught. coz if ur not, u better change a few players around. callinan will be a good bench option. Crows have a spot avaliable to upgrade rookie 2 senior spot. Its all his, now just hope he gets picked for round 1 etc

from what i understand overall DT scores run every week, whilst leagues have weeks off when multiple teams have the bye.

Ah k thanks.  The league is all I care about really, I won't win the FJ and I dont really like the look of em anyway.

About the collingwood players round 7 might be a tad early to upgrade rookies so I'm now thinking of swapping daisy to goodes, will see how they both go in nab. Could also try russel - adcock, then get full priced premium instead of thomas.

Anyway thats my thoughts on it today.
