Andrew Swallow

How does everyone think he will go this season? Had a breakout year last year, but I can't see him possibly going backwards. Does anyone think he can still improve on his SC avg. from last year? Apparently he is absolutely killing pre-season training on each of the track, gym and field.

His numbers were really, really impressive last season. Right up there in disposals per game, #1 for tackles, again right up there for contested posessions and he kicks goals... How can he possibly do much better?

Anyone see any better options for around his price range or less? Boyd would be another, but Swallow is younger and therefore generally has more room for improvement.

Yeah I am considering him very hard but have Anthony and Atley in my mids so Anthony would have to go

Well I had Swan/Anthony +100k in my piggy bank, but decided to go for Hodge/Swallow with the intention of upgrading to Swan later on too see how he handles the interchange. Plus Anthony is a little injury prone so it wasn't as much risk.

If you dont want to start Anthony, have Swallow for sure.. Killing the pre season, not injury prone and can pull out huge scores. That said i would still go Anthony for his value, and that pushes Swallow out. Later in the season if you need to upgrade look Swallows way

Get on this bloke, Swallow will tear it up this season. i think he can get his average to 112-115 ppg. I'm starting him and anthony in mids. Leading tackler in comp, kicks goals, and i see the roos winning a couple more games. His influence on games is second only to petrie (fit + firing) and maybe boomer.

very tempting.. get him as a 3rd or 4th i reckon. get no lower premiums.
Boyd looks good at near price tho...
