but i dont drink rugularly, only on occasions like party's and so on, i don't get home from school and say i'm gonna have a beer.

I haven't even drank a beer yet and I'm 17 ::). Use to get Shandy/Wine from my parents when parties were on or after dinner but haven't had anything for a while.

open bars are fantastic. for about 40 minutes. after then one of 3 things will happen.
1. you will hit the wall and pass out.
2. you will find out there was a 'quota', no more free drinks.
3. there will be a mass fight in the girls toilets, police will be called, girls will be given the boys toilets and boys will be forced to leave to have a wee. you leave for a wee, get lost in melbourne, wake up near the monash medical centre, wander round the corner to maccas and wait for daylight

and i am yet to see an open bar without one of these happening.

also, shandy is horrible

Well, there is a quota so I am going to go hard until no more free drinks and then stop :P Also, this party is in Wantirna so not too far from Monash anyway :D
