which defender??

for my 4th defender i was looking at either heath shaw, lindsay gilbee or jack grimes!

who do you think will be the best option in 2011?

please vote or leave a comment saying who you would chose or any other option?

Definately not Heath Shaw, he is a roller coaster you do not want to ride my friend. His difference between high and low is phenomenol, he may get you 140 but he may get you 20.....

Personally i would go with Grimes, just because he is young and has more upside.

Jack Grimes for mine, should take Bruce's role of the rebounding defender.

I think I might jump on board of the Heath shaw rollercoaster... I just believe he will improve his average this year with tarrant coming back and will find some more consistency. Also because even though I am a doggies fan I can't see gilbee having a dominate year fantasy wise and also I  don't know a lot about jack grimes and whether he will become a dead set premium this year :/

I was also considering Jarod harbrow but I don't think I have the balls to pick him at a new club

Thoughts anyone??

i picked grimes, the best IMO out of those 3, could go a hurn or a drummond though (he is injured i think atm but nothing serious i believe)

I haven't seen much of grimes and looking at his last year stats he also had inconsistency? Can anyone fill me in on why he is rated so highly fantasy wise and also why he is a better option then Heath shaw?

oodmutler

Grimes, SC wise. Great skills, very good decision maker and should play half back/midfield.

the fact that heath shaw is extremely inconsistent, and i think grimes might avg slightly higher then shaw this year

knightmare

Graham Johncock at 360k had 4 scores over 110 but still inconsistant
Andrew Carrazzo at 339k was worth 400+ in round 9 watch his role in preseason
Heath Shaw at 334k hes a rollercoaster but after rd1 his highest was only 113
Jack Grimes 340k more ups and downs than Shaw is he 100% fit yet?
Chris Newman is worth a look same with Jordan Russel and Xavier Ellis is due for a breakout yeah. So many options at that 300-340k value.

Ill watch Grimes and Ellis if i dont like what i see Shaw is the safe bet.
