What do you think peeps?

Backs: Goddard, Delidio, Gibbs, Adcock, Duffield, Otten, Heppell (Talia, Toy Duigan)
Mids: Swan, Boyd, Anthony, Rich, Gaff, Swallow (Mzungu, Harris, Hibberd)
Rucks: Sandi, Jolly (Smith, J. Tippet)
Forw: Chapman, Brown, Green, N. Riewoldt, Krakeur, Petrie, Callinan (Prestia, Tapscott, Richardson)

$176, 200 remaining.

Rookies will all be pending who is named in the first week of games.  With the cash I am cosidering upgrading Rich to a Bartell/Hayes like player.  Possibly taking Cox over Sandi. Possibly moving Chapman to someone cheaper.

Also have tried to have one MPP in each position.  Only positions I don't is forw/def and considering McKernan to fit the bill and be able to swap with Talia.

instead of S McKernan (who might not play) maybe think about S Stevens from Adel with all that cash to gain the MPP...
just a thought when rd 1 is announced if you only have 1 of hibberd and Heppel named for Dons then make sure they sit in the Mids so you can gain MPP to backs...
sandi jolly is a massive combo love it
Rich maybe not

Thanks for the idea.

Possibly moving in Cox for Sandi, not sure yet.

Rich I'm 50/50 on, the spot is for a cheap/mid priced C that could blow up...Rich, Palmer etc.

only use f/b mpps if you get players who are going to play regularly, otherwise its a wasted pick IMO

....with ur upgrade, why not go a step further and upgrade rich to montagna.....could just about be considered a super premium

maybe even swap duffield to broughton........duff is steady, but broughton has a huge upside

overall......very solid team, should go well :)

.....if uv got time could u hav a look at my team and give me ur thoughts .....http://www.fanfooty.com.au/forum/index.php/topic,24975.0.html

Will definately be using MPP strategy if they are definately named, otherwise those rookies will change.  Tried to go with the cheapest of rookies that should get games to save cash.

Have considered trading Rich to Foley to gain some more cash, or like you said go to a gun like Montagna.

Big fan of Broughton, but like Duffield, when he goes to mids he dominates, no idea why they don't play him there more.

maybe wait til pre-season to see what role they give duff...then decide between the two :)

Greg is the nuts. He will have a bigger year. But he is having some injury problems atm. I'll keep regular contact with him and see how he is doing.

Update of what my team looks like now... More keepers in the team, but riskier picks.  Changes are in bold. Biggest change is the dropping of Chapman  :o , but feel like it balances the backs and forwards out a bit more.

Backs: Goddard, Delidio, Gibbs, Adcock, Duffield, Otten, Bruce (Talia, Puopolo, Duigan)
Mids: Swan, Boyd, Anthony, Heppell, Gaff, Swallow (Mzungu, Harris, Smith)
Rucks: Sandi, Jolly (Smith, J. Tippet)
Forw: Higgins, Brown, Green, N. Riewoldt, Krakeur, Petrie, Morton (Prestia, Callinan, Richardson)

#9
Made a new team based on my strategy of using back & forw guns in the midfield to start the season.  Have MPP mids stacked forw/backs.  I have come to the realisation that keeping your MPP guns out of the midfield has become a moot point with all the MPP rookies running around, plus byes.

Here it is, and I dare say the team will not change much from here on in.  Would like to hear comments because I think this will be a seldom used strategy, but with the planning of my upgrades I should have one heck of a team come finals time.

Here it is!  Guys in brackets are interchangeable depending on NAB cup form.

Backs: Goddard, Delidio, Duffield(Broughton), Bruce, Otten, Heppell, Puopolo (Duigan, Coad, Toy)
Mids: Swan, Montagna, Anthony, Chapman, Gibbs, Gaff (Callinan, Harris, Hibberd)
Rucks: Cox, Sandilands (J. Tippett, Smith)
Forw: Franklin, Sylvia, Riewoldt, Knights (Gia), Petrie, Krakouer, Smith (Prestia, Mzungu, Richardson)

162k left in the bank.

If you think my forwards and backs look light on, remember I can move Gibbs and Chapman there when needed.
