I have Hille and McIntosh as my two rucks this year, and have Angus Graham on the pine.

I'm now thinking of downgrading Hille to a rookie and leaving Graham as a starter. With Simmonds seemingly out of favour, Graham scored 70 as the number 1 ruck. Do you guys think he can do this consistently, and more importantly - do you think he will carry the number 1 ruck role from here on in?

Graham is secure for as long as he performs... I think simmonds will be back this week because of Jolly being a real issue for a lot of teams this year. The problem with Graham, and i have him in super coach on the pine, is that is that patterson, andrew browne and eventually Vickery (he had a bit of blinder in the vfl last week and the top tiger draft pick is always going to warrent a run at some stage) are all vying for that second ruck role. Though at this point Graham looks to have that position covered for at least the next month.
Maybe leave graham as a starter for a couple of weeks and assess it from there.
Perhaps looking at the likes of Kreuzer could be the safer alternative.

Thanks for the indepth reply cranny - I guess the point is that he is going to keep making money as long as he play for the next month or so (negative breakeven). Might as well keep him as a starter until he finds himself out of the side at which stage I can upgrade him.

Cheers - appreciate it.

not a problem champ, it is amazing how chatty you become about football when your side has a win.  hahaah
