what do you think of this team? any advice for improvement??

DEF: Goddard, Gibbs, Deledio, Broughton, Drummond, Otten, Coad.
(Toy, Duigan, Puopolo)

MID: Swan, Boyd, Bartel, Swallow, Gaff, Heppell.
(Mzungu, Hibberd, Wallis)

RUC: Sandilands, Jolly (J Tippett, Smith)

FWD: Chapman, Sylvia, Goodes, Riewoldt, Rioli, Petrie, Day.
(Tapscott, Richardson, Smith)

Im happy, but unsure of Goodes and DPP's. any other player that isnt in my team should i be considering to put in there or anything to improve my team? thanks.

Drummonds pretty injury prone from what I hear, but hey, it could pay off (i've been considering him).

I still think the more DPP's the better, normally I wouldn't be too fussed, but with the byes, certainly the more the merrier.

Even though goodes is over 30, I think he can still maintain his average. Keeping in mind, he's an incredibly consistent player- he's played like 200+ games straight.

I've been saying this a lot recently, but I dunno if the tippet/ petrie combo is worth it. I've also heard some concern that Day mighten't get too many games, being a tall forward.

Oh, and keep in mind that with ablett gone + ling injured, bartel will have a much higher probability of copping a tag.

I think it's a nice team though (might just be because it's similar to my own... biased much lol)

My only issues with this team are Drummond and Day.

Although both could end up being successful picks, I just don't see the risk being worthwhile whilst there are other picks out there.

I would say choose one or the other, they may be a clincher in a victory, but you don't want to depend on both of them coming through. Personally, despite his injuries, I'd more strongly consider drummond, as you'll be able to see whether he's named or not in rd 1. Day's just too iffy atm.

I think this team has a lot of changing to do
Go Petrie>Knights or even Leon Davis for a unique
Then Jolly>Petrie
Chapman, Sylvia or Goodes to Krakouer or Prestia
Now that can free up some cash to improve that weak midfield by upgrading gaff or heppel to montagna, selwood, or pendlebury

I disagree. I liked the three rookie mids. Well worth it with all of the young talent. Makes the rest of the team much stronger without detracting much.

yeah, i dont wanna do that luckyanton, thats where ill make some money, in the mids. i like to play it with 3 rookies in the mids and 3 guns. and i am leaving jolly as ruckman, i just have the feeling he will have a good year because hes in a premiership side and probably best team.

yeah, with ablett gone, im unsure to pick bartel or selwood but i think they could take abletts role and just get heaps of possesions!

Ill switch day to someone else.
