Hey guys just wondering if you think you can get more value from goddard in the midfield or the backline, ive seen a whole mixture of teams picking him in these different spots and im just not to sure which is better.

Any opinion would be great.

Still not IMO. Way much more Ultra-Premium's in the middle to fill up with and why use Goddard in the Mid's when you can put him up back for a 7th Mid?

Yeah I've got him up back, can be my Ultra-Premium there and have some others in the mids (eg Swan, Judd etc)

Yep down back. Much more premium depth in the midfield so it is a waste to put him in there.
Also with a lot of people loading the back it is 1 less premium you put down there, so you have more available for other places, if it makes sense. Because if you put God in the mids, you need to buy another premium to have say 5 back premiums and then you may sill have Swan and that is going to leave you fwds 1 prem weaker. Or any other position. Good for team balance :P That might not have made sense :P
Hopefully Judd and Pendles hold the mids up for me this season.

Swan and Judd in the mids for me :)

Supported by A.Swallow and DLids.

I have D. Swallow :P
Rich, Anthony & Jack in support for me.

Depends how your teams structured really, I have 3 Saints in my team, Goddard in my mids, Roo being in my forwards and Gilbert in my backs, If i had Goddard in my backs when the saints have the bye i'd to rely on two of my emergencies instead of one, Unless of course you have a high scoring Mid/Def that you can replace em with if need be, Again team structure is the key with multi position players, I might yet put Goddard back once my team is finalised, decisions decisions lol

Alex7089

You can always switch Goddard into the mids when he has the bye if you feel you have better cover there ;)
I know I'm going to, bring Harris on for him :)

i try to only ever put my CENTRE only premium players in the centre, leaving more premium midfielders to put in the forward and back, resulting in roughly 7-8 premium mids throughout my starting team.
so, to answer your question. put him in your backline.

Luigi197

I'd put him in the backs.
If u want a premium with that MPP go Gibbs or Deledio
Or Hibberd as a rookie

tferrier18

Definitely put him in your backs.

The best way to use mpp is to have mpp rookies that play and to have them on your bench in their respective positions. This allows you to have mpp while not having to sacrificea midfield premium spot. There's a wealth of options in the mids and having goddard in there would take away from these options.
