Hey guys, I need a backman under 442k.  I am really stuck.

I can't upgrade elsewhere.

I don't want Drummond.

I am currently leaning towards Adcock.

Help?

diddley

i would like to say hurn, and i am wondering why many others havet mentioned him this pre season.
you said it yourself in Junktimers take BAC mid price and cheapies
"is underpriced and a very good option for teams this year."

Cicjose

Cheney would be my choice but i don't know what his role at the Hawks would be considering he didn't get too many games for melbourne last year

I know how Junk feels about Bunga, but I reckon he's good value at that price. He can play like a premium for most of a season. Just needs to work out how to beat a tag.

I would go Duffield. Consistent performer.

Wilkopolis

Definitely Duffield just over Bock who should snap back to premium status now that there's no guessing where he'll be playing next year.  I've got both of them, plus Hurn who is also good value for what he's capable of.  I'm going very back premium heavy this year.

Duffield for me. He is durable, unlike Grimes. Connors would be the smokie IMO

Hurn easily. Doesn't need much of the pill to score well so you rarely see a bad game from him, Duffield can be frustrating with his low scores, tends to get a forward tag which is a bit worrying :-\

Get Drummond...show a little backbone you person ;D lol
Hurn out of that list. When he plays well he really burns up the big scores.
I had Duffield for the last half of last year and whilst he was okay he wasn't great.

I have Duffield for consistency, and Bock too, and then Hurn for the big scores :)

hip setback champ.  would only ever take Drummo if he was flying pre season

Fixed it for you :P Duffy isn't that consistent >> He scored 80 or less 8 times last year :-\

tferrier18

you going for overall junky?

what no. defender is he? i'd say grimes. reckon he'll have a big year, at worst he'll get injured after making you some money and you can trade him out (but if he's in your 3rd spot (which i doubt he is) then you'd probably want someone to be a keeper so go for someone less injury prone))

lewis

Tactically I would have Coad allow him to fatten up and on the round where he has his 2nd bye trade him to a Cameron Bruce or a Heath Scotland 'uniquish' type selections. Both players have counter-attacking roles in their backlines and can easily gather 20 - 30 possies a game. The safe picks are Sam Fisher and Duffield both consistent.  I am hoping for an early price drop for all   :D
