Petrie

What is everyone doing with petrie. I was going to put him as a forward and use dual position with the ruck. But joel tippett is too expensive to have as a fourth ruck. So now i have no dual position. Would you use petrie as a forward or ruck?

Rucks: Sandilands, Cox , Smith, Campbell
Forwards: Sylvia, Riewoldt, ROK, Higgins, Knights, Petrie, Prestia, Richardson, Smith, Callinan

got him as forward.
Ruck: Sandi, Cox, Tregnove, Smith.

Doesn;t make allowance for his MPP but this can be manupulated during the season if absolutely required.

Having Petrie forward also give the opportunity to 'hopefully' upgrade him at some stage to a premium forward.

im sticking him in the ruck, as smith should be decent cover for the 4 games sand or petrie miss. Plus i value forward spots more highly than ruck spots so im not going to waste one on petrie.  Hopefully im able to keep petrie if he has a simular year to hille but if not i will upgrade him to however is the second best ruck. Premium non sandi or cox rucks are the most volatile and you never know who out of mumford, ryder, hille etc.. will be a premium this year

Petrie is my 2nd ruck with Hale in my F as cover with smith and campbell on the bench and of course sandilands as no.1, Big risk but worth a go
