PMSL the guy played 21 games of a possible 22 averaged 14pts more than any other fwd sound similar to someone else???
Goddard 21 of 22games 14pt avg over the nearest back...

Backs: Goddard
Mids: Swan
Ruck: Sandi
Fwd: Chappy

Only because Voldt got injured and dare I say it... cause JB got injured.

Voldt would have scored similar to Chappy had he not gone down...

And well I'm JB bias but he started so well and whatnot..

This year Paul "Glass Hamstrings" Chapman won't be as far in front of the pack with the likes of Voldt. I'd put Voldt as MORE of a must have than Chapman simply because Voldt is largely underpriced for a forward who will likely average close to Chapman this year...

Chapman is priced at his ceiling, Voldt is highly cheap, therefore Voldt = more important.
IMO.

+1, voldt in the first 3 or so games after he got back wasnt playing anywhere near his best, and the 25 he got when he did the hammy doesnt help the avg (especially with not playing a lot of games)

looks like Chappy is a unique :P
not quite, still see him in a few teams, although the injury prone arguement doesnt seem to fit, he didnt miss many games last year

i cant afford not to start with chappy, as i have blown all my cash on Goddard, Swan, Boyd, Bartel.

If chappy looks like he is going to have another good year i can simply turn knights into him around round 8

I don't think chappy is a must have either... I've seen a LOT of teams starting without him.

His glass hamstrings still scare me, will he get more of a tag with ablett gone?

Just too many questions for me to fork that much out.

I thought that also last year & waited n waited for his hammys to go, but they didn't due to his modified training program. Ended up getting him later cost me 2 trades to do it.     What makes him more tempting then this year? IMO I have put it down to the 2 Byes resting up as well as his new program

this is a good discussion i have always had "chappy fright" as I call it. turns 30 at the end of the year... hmm...

swan though the issue is the bye thing... he does start slower than his usual output... last yr i didnt start with him and i got him cheaper when he "bottomed out"

Chappy is good but Riewoldt will score around the same.

I assume this is the  general opinion around the site?

Anyhow, I have roo, Franklin, Brown and Green.

Thinking about trading chappy out for a cheaper premium, (Goodes)

Then I'll have plenty of cash. ;)
