Downgrade Swan to Cheaper Premium

Swan will be the most picked player this season and everyone will have him as captain.

Worth downgrading to a Bartel, Tuck, Hodge, Kornes or Lenny?

Would add Swallow but already have Anthony in Mids.

Let's say I put in Kornes. I could then swap Goodes to Chappy in the FWD line.

Or is Swan to good not to have?

Only way I can have all 4 must haves is to have Gorringe as 2nd ruck.

chappy is not really a must have, you dont know the effect of losing ablett and the potentail slight decline of gellong

Do it if you want to burn 2 trades to bring him in latter in the season after youve lost the first 6 games to teams with him as captain....

I go against the grain and don't think he's an absolute must...

I'd put Goddard before Swan...

You won't lose too many points with Boyd/Monty as captain over swan for a bit... and that 60k-80k you can save could be worth it...

I'm tossing up to not start with Swan, he'll drop price a bit and seeing as Malthouse loves to bench him soooo much I'm also thinking if the Pies are winning easy Swan might be the player subbed out... It'll cost me early but will enable me to have an extra prem in the mids...

Right now I'm not 100% sure if I'll get Swan or not..

I don't think chappy is a must have either... I've seen a LOT of teams starting without him.

His glass hamstrings still scare me, will he get more of a tag with ablett gone?

Just too many questions for me to fork that much out.
