Nice.

Risks: Rawlings - Don't know if he can repeat last year...
Cox - Last year could show he's now on the downhill, especially with the up and coming nicnat.

What I'd do: Heppell on the field over Stanley in the back line, then put a Callinan or other rookie on the mid bench.
And i'd trade Cox and Rawlings. Not sure who too, but I see them as risks that won't pay off.

GinoGod

yeah rawlings is iffy but doesnt miss a game, cox is a super dter bar injury.
what about the rest of team?

woozie10

If that's Jack Reiwoldt then I'd lose him, if its Nick then that's all good.
I like your team very much overall.

Everyone was bagging Cox last year and he still averaged mid 80's.  He was carrying injuries for most of the season.  This year he appears to be injury free.

woozie10

Averaging 80's down from 100+

I agree that it could pay off, but i don't see him averaging anything more than 80s...

If you have Cox and Sandi thats 180 points from your rucks each week - I would be happy with that

woozie10

I know that would be nice, but my point is that you can get 180 from your two rucks for less money!

Sandi and a player who is on the way up such as Kruzer, Goldstein, McIntosh or perhaps mitch clark. Whereas I think Cox is on the way down. But that's just my opinion.

Kruze averaged is 75 and is coming back from a knee and will spend more time up forward.  Only 1 game over 100 before injury from 12 games  (not counting game 13 when he got injured)
Clark averaged 75 and is $38k less than Cox.  Will most likely play up forward because Fev wont. 2 games over 100
McIntosh averaged 80 and is only $15k less than Cox.  2 games over 100.  Also had surgery and will be underdone at the beginning of the season.  Wont start running till middle of Feb (last news I read)
Goldstein averaged 75 and is $41k less than Cox. 2 games over 100
(Will both McIntosh and Goldstein play with the new sub rule?)

Cox averaged 85 and got better as the year went on.  7 games over 100 with 5 of those in the last 11 games of the season

Not bad considering he was injured for most of the year

Easy tiger.
Its only day 2 of dream team openning!
Just sharing my opinion that one of those younger fellows will out perform cox.
I may not be right, but I think that's what will happen.

You're on the money as usual Valk.

Cox been training the house down at WCE and the Sub rule will benefit him, coaches will need more game time out of him. Less rotations, more possesions and taps!
