Umm, slit our wrists ??  Or ...  just like when I first saw the real Supercoach prices and said that I didn't like the price of Foley, Houli and McLean - You remember ? ... where in the space of one forum post of mine you were able to instantly judge my "tone" (good grief - that's impressive over the internet !) and replied to grow the "F" up and realise life isn't fair and I should just shut up and stop complaining ... well, just like that, we could do the same and maybe just readjust our teams instead ?   I'm just sayin' ...  ;D

HillHero13

well by that i'm guessing that this is not a good thing?

LOL - for me it's fine - I preferred Heppell anyway, BUT I do suggest that if other people want to "vent" for one post or two (but no more than that) we let them do so ... after all, this is a "forum" ... sure, there MAY be a few tears, but as Nick Riewoldt will tell you, there is NOTHING unmanly about that, or shaving your pubes ... or taking photos naked with your male friends ...  :)

but what if you have both?

I feel your pain....

In the one day I have had to change both Drummond and Jacobs due to injury.

DamenS

Trust me ... Jacobs was pain, Drummond was ... an um, "early warning" !!   :)

Guys calm down wait till we know the extent as they said if it is a mild case (1 week and a bit off) he will be fine and get straight back into training like he was so keep him until we do know the extent if it is 3 weeks or longer then yes he will take longer to get back into footy so be mindful of replacing him at this early stage ;D

I love jacobs and heppell but i think that he may be alright :)

DamenS

Maybe - but I think a bit of "spin" may be being used here for the benefit of the Port supporters they still want to sign up ... sure there are different levels of glandular fever (just as there are different levels of "decapitation"  :P), but the people I have known who have had it have taken a LONG time to be entirely recovered - and trust me - they were NOT elite athletes being expected to perform at a higher level of competition than they previously had ... Jacobs is OUT for me, no matter what !!

reesbr

yeah ive had it. he will take a while to get over it.

It can go on for years

If it is a longer one, then i will simply take him out and bring in Brad Harvey
