If he stays fit for the year then I think the risk will have paid off.

If you are prepared to take on the risk then he would be a good round 1 starter

How is he a "Risk?"

A good young player who got injured...Once.

It's not doom people.

He will be like Swallow. One of my first picked on my team. Will Ave 85+/ 8)

I hope.  ::)

I thought he was injured twice

2009 and 2010

2009 he broke his leg and 2010 was a shoulder (I think)

Windigo

Ahh, yes forgot about that..... :o

But still a good option me thinks.  8)

Thats why I said if you are prepared to take the risk then he is a good option.

In 2009 I recall he had a stress fracture in his foot.. news made public shortly after the lockout in Round 1, when everyone had already locked this ball magnet into their teams (it was Ziebell who broke his leg in 2009).

In 2010 he injured his shoulder against the Pies and had a reconstruction.  I think there is a clear risk with players coming back from knee or shoulder reconstructions.. let's just hope he doesn't have recurring problems this year because I've got him in my team too!

At his price and reputation, i would want a higher minimum than 85

Injuries are a part of every sport.

Bring it on!!  :P

He'll average more.

Spot on Daze  ;)
The kid is a jet and will deliver, perhaps again flying under the other teams radar as they track onto Swallow and others who have shone in the last two years. It would be unlucky for him to down again rather than a patterned history of injury recurrence.

Thats right - I knew he had an injury at the beginning of 2009.  Cheers for clarifying
