Yeah, good point...after looking at his previous seasons and seeing how many games he's played each year from 2005 (14,7,11,13,19 & 7) it'd take a miracle for him not to get injured...especially playing on that dogshi* gabba surface.

I'm not gonna get sucked in

no news is good news?

im also going for overall so having riewoldt + goddard makes r4 to tight to have drummond in my team :( disappointing.

probably not an upgrade target either because he probably won't be fit for the whole season.
Thing is, overall is over every round, seeing as every player has 2 byes, I don't think it makes much difference when they have them :P

He is a lock for me, he has burnt me the last couple of years and I really should learn but if he stays fit he is a complete bargain.

Nah it does matter because you can trade players in after they've had a bye or two...that means there'll be a player in your team who has had one or two less byes than the standard. The less byes you face, the better

Absolutely correct - In fact you BOTH are, in that if you have a Premium who is a keeper from the start then they all have 2 byes so they are all equal (even though it could be argued not all "byes" are exactly equal this season).  If however, you are trading someone IN to the team then whether they have already had one or two of their byes is eminently relevant (anyone else here thinking of trading up to Gary Ablett after round 9 for instance) ??  ;)

Only over 15 games once is worrying.
But I could have one more season :P

You never know he may come good.

Yes, there's a chance ... and maybe you will also win Tatslotto that year ...   ;)

Alex7089

Hmm...So if I get Drummond I will win tatts? :P
decided to go Drummo --> Broughton.

MajorLazer

Only if you're the luckiest person alive!! You'd have to think you are to pick Drummond and expect a lotto win lol I just can't bring myself to pick the bloke with his injury history. He's still in the back of my mind but he would probably need to have bionic legs before I'd be confident in picking him.

Boomz

Drummond ---> Broughton :)

Drummond ---> Broughton :)

Drummond is greater than Broughton ... Drummond plays 6 games and breaks down ... again ... Broughton just keeps on doing his impersonation of the Energiser bunny ...  :)

That's it for Drummond, he is now unpickable.

Very sad.

Junktimer

any word on the severity of his hip injury?

McRooster

Broughton then I suppose  :P

If Hurn breaks down too please don't post it anywhere, I don't want to know  >:(

Alex7089

I'm sure you would want to Know Mc :P
It would be crushing though, for them both to just go :'(

ELLsendon

:(

atleast it happened now.

Not halfway through the season
